What You'll Need for Travel to Canada
If you're stuck trying to figure out what you'll need to pack for travel to Canada, you're not alone. Packing for Canadian travel is difficult because it is such a large country with various climactic regions and seasons. However, to make the packing process a little easier, we’ll provide our packing suggestions by season so you won’t be stuck in a snow storm in shorts and a tank top.

Due to the coastal influence, British Columbia is the mildest climate in Canada, whereas if you trek northwards, you’ll find some of the coldest Canadian temperatures in the Yukon and Territories. When traveling eastward, get ready for extremes. Hot, humid summers and cold winters characterize the weather from Saskatchewan to the Atlantic Provinces. Thankfully, in these regions, despite the cold, the sun tends to shine in the winter and there’s a nice breeze in the summer.

Other than temperatures hinting at a particular time of year, a trees' bareness, fullness or colour is a convincing seasonal indicator. Like clockwork, the abundant Canadian trees call each season with fresh growth or falling leaves. In winter trees barren and naked; spring is a time of fresh growth and blooming; summer is a time of full bloom and fall invites a symphony of colour.

To ensure you are prepared for the seasons and temperatures you'll meet during your trip to Canada, here are some suggestions for your pre-trip packing session:
